My Papier Mache

I never feel complete unless I'm making something with my hands whether it's decorating a cake, hand modeling fondant or making papier mache.  I'm no artist by any stretch of the imagination and have had no formal training, but when I'm working on my papier mache, I feel so magical.  And, papier mache is very forgiving.  I learn as I go along and use the web as my tool to find techniques and ideas.  The World Wide Web truly is my inspiration.

This is a simple papier mache piggy bank I made for my daughter using a balloon as my starting point.
